The purpose of this organization is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension or humane education. It is the policy of this organization to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in the area served by the organization; to seek to return lost animals to their owners; to seek suitable homes for animals without owners; to provide euthanasia when necessary; to encourage and facilitate the prevention of the birth of unwanted animals; to provide education to the general public regarding the proper care and treatment of animals; and to prevent cruelty to animals. No animal under the control of the organization may be disposed of except as herein specifically provided.
Menominee Animal Shelter, Inc is a private non-profit organization, we
receive no federal, state or government funding and rely solely on
private donations, merchandise sales and adoption fees.
